STEP INTO YOUR FUTURE PODIATRY PRACTICE MANAGEMENT COLLEGE WORKSHOPS TO INCLUDE PODIATRY RESIDENTS THIS YEAR

DELRAY BEACH, FL. – December 9, 2002  (Future Medical Solutions) – The Step Into Your Future Podiatry Practice Management Workshops were a big hit last year when they were given at the podiatry colleges in N. Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Cleveland, and New York City.  Drs. Alan Sherman, DPM and Michael Shore, DPM are introducing this year’s practice management programs as the first offering from their new company, Future Medical Solutions. This new company will pursue the duel goals of bringing cutting edge practice management training, and offering niche practice management products to the podiatry profession.

This year, workshops are scheduled at 6 colleges around the country and for the first time, a separate workshop will be given at each location for the nation’s podiatric residents, focusing on their unique needs. This is the first time that a single educational workshop has been delivered to the nation’s geographically dispersed podiatric residents.

The programs begin with a 2 hour nuts and bolts multimedia presentation on making the transition from podiatry student to practicing podiatrist.  A statistical analysis of current practice economic and management trends is presented. In keeping with recent trends of podiatric residents joining existing practices rather than opening cold, the presentation then focuses on how young podiatrists can contribute to the growth of the practice that they join and become a vital part of it’s success, by employing the best proven practice building strategies.

Following the presentation, students/residents will be treated to a gourmet buffet lunch/dinner and will attend their first product and services exhibition hall, which we’re calling a Mini-Trade Show. In attendance will be 15-20 Exhibitors, representing the leaders in the industry, covering a wide range of well known podiatric products and services, all anxious to impress their next generation of podiatrist customers.
